Vice President, Fidelity investments
As Vice President of Family Thought Leadership and Practice at Fidelity Investments, Tobias Donath trains and coaches advisors on how to navigate family conversations with their clients, and works with client families to engage the developmental opportunities in money, wealth, and estate planning. Working in partnership with Dr. Timothy Habbershon, a leading expert in enterprising families and families of wealth, Mr. Donath also facilitates advisor-client conversations, family meetings, and multi-family events.
Mr. Donath has a Master’s degree in Business Administration from IMD in Lausanne, Switzerland where he focused on leadership and family business, and a Bachelor of Science from Babson College with a concentration in entrepreneurship. Having started his career in his own family’s business, he brings a unique personal and professional perspective on why the “how” of family relationships are just as important as the “what” a family tries to execute.
Mr. Donath resides in greater Boston where he and his wife, Nicole, are enjoying the journey of raising three young children, and navigating their own family conversations around money, wealth, and estate planning.
