On the personal side:

Sanjeev is a native of New Delhi, India and originally came to the U.S. in 1985 after he and his brother were finally able to convince their dad to move to the "Land of Opportunity." His entire family moved with the initial plan that mom and dad would return to India after their children had "settled down." It has been over 25 years, and they are still here. Sanjeev lives on the Peninsula with his wife, Shalini, and their two children, and he enjoys playing tennis and road biking on the weekends.

Something you may not know about Sanjeev:

During Sanjeev's college years, you could find him spending his free time either giving makeup tips at "Essence of Beauty," his co-owned beauty supply business, finalizing deals for his import/export business, or preparing killer club sandwiches at his parents' delicatessen. You'll have to ask his daughter, Tara, whether his makeup advice is helpful or not.

Laura Thomas

Laura Thomas

Chief Operating Officer

Laura joined BluePointe at its inception in 2006 and has worked with Sanjeev for over 10 years, both at BluePointe and Credit Suisse. Laura oversees the general operations of the firm, as well as all client support and communications. She is a client service specialist with over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. On the personal side:

Laura grew up on the East Coast and never thought she'd leave. She and her husband, Dean, both lived in New York City and even participated on the same running team there, yet they never managed to meet until competing in an endurance running race in Oregon. Shortly thereafter, Laura moved out to San Francisco to join Dean, who had come up with the idea a few years earlier. Laura spends the majority of her weekends either racing her spec miata or instructing other drivers on the racetrack. When she's not racing cars, she's usually running on the trails of Marin County.

Something you may not know about Laura:

Laura will race almost anything, and for a break from the pressure of regular competition, she occasionally drives in the infamous "24 Hours of LeMons" - a race series for $500 cars.  She is most proud of her team's overall win in 2008 with their "Mustard Yellow Volvo Doing 45 In The Fast Lane" car.  Her latest ride was a homemade "Model T GT," containing parts from a 1927 Ford Model T, an '80's Pinto and '80's Mustang.  Her family is alternately proud and frightened.

Something you may not know about Robert:

During the summer before 6th grade, Robert accidentally superglued both of his eyes semi-shut and had to be sent to the emergency room to have the glue removed.
